Do candles need a candle plate?
The short answer to this is yes. Candles are always best placed upon a candle plate so that you don't damage any surface underneath. This is particularly important if you are placing a lit candle upon a wooden surface, as otherwise you can end up with heat marks, which can be a real pain to get off.
Lakes & Hills have a range of candle plates, including some lovely Christmas Candle plates. These are also great for Christmas table candle decorations. If you have a candelabra you can often find that the wax drips, these candle plates are easy to clean and so will stop wax marking your table cloths too.
They are available in silver and gold lettering, with different slogans plus are a very generous size, meaning you can get larger candles and multiple candles on the plate.
